I usually begin working with mamas around 30 to 35 weeks. That gives us time to practice together and really let the tools sink in, so they feel familiar by the time birth arrives. If you're earlier, beautiful. We have more space. And if you're later, just reach out and we'll see what will best support you.
-
If you're already 36 weeks or close reach out anyway. We'll look at your timeline and see what kind of support makes sense for you, so you still feel calmer and more prepared for birth.
-
Yes, that's exactly what this is for. Fear of pain is so common. We work with both the mind and body so you can meet sensations with tools, not just tension.
-
Absolutely. You can use these tools with any kind of birth. Many women use them to stay calm during early labor, while making decisions about pain management, and even during medicated births.
-
Not all births go exactly as planned. These tools aren't about controlling every outcome. They're about helping you stay grounded, calm, and connected to yourself, no matter how your birth unfolds.
-
Yes. Hypnosis for birth is a relaxation and focus tool, similar to guided meditation. You remain aware and in control the whole time. If you ever have specific medical concerns, you're always welcome to check in with your care provider.
-
No. You'll be aware and able to stop at any time. Most clients describe it as feeling deeply relaxed and focused, not asleep or gone.
-
Because birth is a team experience. We'll practice together so your partner knows how to support you and feels confident in their role too. Also your doula is welcome to join our sessions together!
-
Ideally once or twice a day. It’s like playing the flute: the more you practice the better you become.
-
Five private sessions, personalized recordings, partner preparation in the two final sessions, a prenatal yoga class, educational videos about Hypnobirth, and of course ongoing support throughout our work together.
-
Yes, payment plans are available. Just ask.

Sessions are online or in person in Joshua Tree CA, depending on what works best for you.
